      PMSL, I feel sick now. I live very near Bluewater so ideal for the Apple shop. Didn't know Dan teaches video editing. Decisions, decisions. I've sent that link to Dan to see what the comparable mac would be, got a feeling the savings are gonna take a bashing.

      Yeah, the thing is, and I hate to say it, for what you want to do an iMac comes with all the hardware and all the software to do it right out of the box. If you've got an Apple Store near you they will give you training too. Don't forget teaching video editing is what Dan does for a living so you could always get yourself down the valleys for a week for some intensive mate rate tuition.

      I hate macs but that's what they're about.
