Sounds like you need to check the timing. Align the crank to TDC, and then check the cams are in the right position.
Glad to hear its fixed. Not having a spark, would have led us down the route of checking these.
Remove a coil pack, and then connect a spark plug to it. Make sure the body of the plug is touching the engine so it has a ground. Now.. crank...
I like Castrol and Motul 7100. I think they work well.

Brands Hatch and Snetterton are pretty good. Bedford Autodrome is worth a try, but its quite flat. Silverstone has no bike events this year.....
