No issues with mine as of yet either, just make sure you get it set up properly whatever you go for, there a bit of a nightmare if not spot on.
The replacement length i needed was 120mm, that was for a HM QS which is 50mm with Diamond Racing rearsets and it all fits perfect. Hope that helps.
Don't take this as gospel but I think you've been misinformed mate. Why would they need to be replaced? you cant expect a track bike to replace...
