Had a bit of time today so thought would do the suspension properly ... Fork measurement in air: 124mm With rider (no kit): 82mm Was 42mm ......
How many turns available on forks from fully out - anyone know? Forgot to check!
The front fork springs are actually a bit stiff at 11Nm IIRC ... So you should be ok in that respect given your on standard preload ... The rear...
Apparently static sag is more important than rider sag ... Basically if you set the static sag and can't get rider sag within correct measurements...
Know that feeling ... I've got rear sets to go on yet which the wife still doesn't know about ! :D
It's my NOS button .... :p I jest ... Map selector for power commander ;)
Couldn't resist ... :p I know which one it is but didn't realize how it is measured ... I'm used to rings on the preload ! :D My first Honda :p
There is no blue nut.... :D [ATTACH]
It's now on 6 ... ;) How's the front preload done? I was looking for rings ... There are none!
Shock has 10 notches? ... Mine was set to 4...

Not genuine you cannot!
Still fucking about with exhausts! :D
I sorted mine fine... The P clips already have rubber protectors so as long right size will be perfect.
That was my understanding as well... I will check it tomorrow and find out.
Yep ... If anything I would drop rear to '6' so nearer to 30-35 ... But that's down to preference. 5-10mm difference is ok.
Interesting I've learnt something ... Didn't realise the spring was progressive!
38mm front sag is perfect. Let me know what rear is ...
It's still a different damper therefore it is not relative so why you keep arguing the issue I don't know. More importantly if the range of sag...
I'm gonna try increasing preload as mine is on 4... Will probably increase to 6. But I want to record all settings before I mess about ......
