OK, so I'm putting the bike up for sale. This decsription will be as honest as I can. Viewing is welcome but no test pilots without proper insurance and cash in hand.

    2006 CBR1000RR in black,
Currently 23,200 miles but will be increasing daily as I'm currently commuting on the bike,
Regularly serviced (more than the recommended schedules too)
Chain and sprocket will be brand new, not yet fitted as I'm still waiting on the new rear sprocket,

    The good stuff

Forged alloy PVM 6-spoke wheens fitted with R10's that are nearly done,
    Ohline FG43 R&T forks,
    2011 monoblock calipers,
HEL braided hoses (1 line per caliper)
    R&G Heated grips,
    R&G bar end weights,
    Short Spazzo adjustable levers,
    K&N air filters,
    Carbon upper tank infills
    Carbon lower tank infills,
    Tank stomp grip,
    Harris quick release fuel cap,
    02 eliminator,
    Full Arrow titanium system,
PAIR system removed and blanking plates fitted,
    Airbox flapper mod done,
Ohlins rear shock (46PRX, not the TTX)
Tear drop shaped R&G crash protectors,
Gilles rearsets with HRC rear brake reservoir,
    R&G swingarm protectors,
    Gilles chain adjusters,
    Gilles lifters for the adjusters,
    R&G tail tidy,
    Carbon rear hugger,
    Carbon chain guard,
    Carbon swingarm protectors
    Honda seat cowl,
PowerCommander 3 with custom map (168bhp, work carried out by HoleShot racing)
    Speedo Healer.

I think that's all the bits listed. Obviously all the standard items will be included in the sale too so stock forks, shock wheels, exhaust etc Valve clearances were done at the start of this year by Hole Shot when the bike was getting dyno'd and all is fine.

    The bad parts

This bike is NOT mint, fairings are showing their 23k miles. I was also knocked off the bike a few years ago and thanks to the R&G's (new ones were fitted) and Gilles (new pegs fitted) it kept the bike off the ground, but it did hole the seat a little and the nose cone is held together by the Motografix protectors, the exhaust has melted both lowers, but nothing mayor, the front mud guard is also damaged on the left side where it mounts to the fork leg. The radiator was also holed over a year ago and was fixed and not had an issues since the repair. I do have a complete set of Chinese fairings that are unpainted and will also be included in the sale.

    The price

This will probably be one of the dearest RR6's you'll see, but this is justified by the mods, upgrades and inclusion of all the OE bits and fairings etc. Viewing is welcome and encouraged, but as mentioned above, no test ride without cash and insurance,

    £7495 ono

Looks like a fair price to me, hope you find someone who will appreciate the quality of kit involved

Cheers bud, I'd rather the bike went as 1 piece as I don't want to split it. If it's still here in the new year I'll probably take all the bits off the bike and try and sell it standard and fix the fairings etc.

If it were me mate I would get the fairings sorted and get the bike to it's best. The last thing you want is to put people off out there. Especially with things being as hard to sell at the moment.

Just my opinion though, but that bike deserves to be at it's best with the quality components on it. ;)

Agreed Colin, it needs money spent to put it right cosmetically, but at present time and money is needed elsewhere, that's partly to do with why the bike is up for sale too.

I would be tempted to remove some of the easily saleable parts to fund the fixing of the fairings.... thus opening the sale of the bike to a wider section, similar to selling a house, sometimes you have to spend a bit to make a lot more and more importantly, sell the bike (or house !).

Trying my hardest not to sell the bike. Fairings now being sold separately.
