I am in the market for a new helmet. As some are aware, since my first helmet at 16 years old I have to have pure plain white ones, it’s a superstition thing but am thinking of pushing my boundaries. There is nothing out there in the Shoei X Sprint 2 range that is floating my boat and still giving me enough white to hopefully keep my demons at bay. I have been thinking about a one off custom paint job and Rich Art (he does a lot of the professional racers helmets) is looking very favourable at the moment. I am thinking about something mostly white based with the cross of St George and the Royal crescent of Sutton Coldfield or the Tudor rose given that Henry V111 gave me a piece of Sutton Park. As he is based where I was born I was thinking he would sympathetic to the design and come up with something special. If all fails and I get the heavy breathing vapours when I ride in it I can always use it as a piece of art in my office and just buy another plain white one to ride in. Anyone had a custom one off done by someone they can recommend?
Ignore the online sites stock guide matey. It also said that about the Green & Red version yet the Stoke Branch had 4 Large in stock as well as other sizes. Ring em is ya best bet.
That's a bargain! Millenium in St Helens currently have an X Spirit II - kiyonari in stock in Medium for £349. I bought the Marquez X Spirit II last week. Should have been £640 - he did it for £570 There's bargains to be had this time of year
