I tend to use the dri fit type t - shirts for spring and summer, keeps you cool and wicks away the sweat, cotton cycling shorts for the lower half

Use the nike combat stuff, cheap from
Sports direct etc and buy a few tops and bottoms as you need em. Work perfect

I use Forcefield, they make a summer and winter base layer. £80 a set but they really are top end stuff.

I use Fruit of the Loom white t shirts US$10 a pack of 5, and when they are fooked they make good chain cleaning rags.

80 quid will get me 60 of the buggers, that's a lot of clean chain

Just goto Marks & Spencer. They sell all sorts of layers at a fraction of the price of Dainese etc.

Anything sold for 'Motorcycle use' is a rip off!

Get yer sen to Go Outdoors or an online Push Bike Store.

    Same gear and FAR cheaper.

Aldi's do motorcycle base layers, only cheap, bought a few sets of summer n winter ones.

I think they stop my arse getting sore as it can't rub n chaff me.

Can't praise them enough, sure their special bike day is soon.

Tried most of the branded motorcycles ones, prefer the Aldi layers.

That sounds worth looking out for.

Knox "Dry inside" stuff is good in relatively warm weather, but get it off ebay rather than a dealership.

    Depends on what you're after.

I swear by Under Armour or Helly Hanson. They've done me right for years for either cold or hot countries and riding.

Bought 2 lots from Aldi last summer, they are really good. The motorcycle socks were really comfy as well. I'll keep my eye out for Aldi selling them again
