    Hi all
    I am looking for a metal bike shed so i can store my bike at home as cheap as possable cause the insurance man wants £1200 to insure it if i dont have it in a garage or £500 with £2000 excess

    Check that whatever you plan to get is approved by more than one insurer. A lot of them want brick/concrete garages and don't really like sheds even if they are metal.

    Spoke to the insurance and they said that there are ok just need to find one that fits

    Carole Nash are great, as well as 3 mods ( no charge ) exhaust etc, they are happy with a wooden shed, as a "garage" I rung them 3 times to double check, it's cheaper a wooden shed and £100 or so extra insuring through Carole Nash than say bennetts who for numerous reasons are shit and charge you for anything and run by a bunch of monkeys ! And you have to pay £600 +++ for a metal shed, change insurers

    Tricky mate, as the insurers are a bit weird to secure a deal with them. Have a look in your local council garages for something proper
