Went for a run to the coast yesterday on the zx10 and noticed a bit of condensation inside the headlight lens, the temperature was bit cold rang the dealer and they've told me this is nothing to worry about as they have breather vents in the lights, now I don't know if they're trying to fob me off , but I thought that headlights are a sealed unit, but they're adamant that there are vents in them it's the light that's permanently on if that makes any difference. Cheers Jase.
Should be sealed, whip the back off but leave the engine with light on it will soon dry out, I had similar a while back on my bike
Cheers SPS, it dries out quickly enough, but I've just read in the handbook, " you may notice condensation in the head light after washing the bike, or riding in the cold or humid conditions"
It's normal on many new bikes, seems that as time goes by manufactures have lost the ability to keep moisture out of indicators, lights front and back and clocks! My Ducati does it and the day I said my Honda never does that it started doing it too! It's a simple case of hot air meets cold air
