Fitted new braided hoses on the weekend as I cooked the fluid at rockingham :) question is, is there I better way of bleeding the brakes?? I have bleed from both callipers and the master cylinder but they still feel a little soft....... the brakes work fine but they still feel like the old rubber hoses are fitted I have sucked about 500ml of dot 5.1 fluid though the system but still feel the same or is this normal??

    Cheers

Definitely not normal. Should be pretty firm.

Best thing I found to work was a speed bleeder that I got off the evil bay for about £17-£19.

Also I always find the air in the MC and once I do everything else, I go back to there and use the bleed nipple first, and then actually crack it again at the banjo.

The trick is to get the trapped air to where you can remove it. Try tapping the calipers and lines with a soft handle to free up the bubbles to move up to the nipples, could take a couple of goes. Also strapping the lever over night helps.

pretty much as above.bleed the m/c 1st,then the furthest caliper, then the other.then go back to the m/c.that should do it,well assuming it isn't the fabled honda ABS system....
