    Hi All

Just picked up my new 2010 Fireblade and the clutch lever feels a bit odd at times... It's only done 3000 miles from new so hoping it's just settling in but it feels as though something 'clicks' when you pull it in ... For example you cruise along in top gear for a few mins then go to change down and it clicks but if the accelerate and change up again straight away it doesn't click ... Really odd.

    Any ideas?

Mine done it from brand new mate, courtesy blade 14 plate did exactly the same. Honda dealer told me it's normal, they all do it. I don't like it tho

It's odd but you soon learn to ignore it,apparently due to the slipper clutch.

I'm on my seventh blade and to be honest the gears are always their Achilles heal, sometimes it will be buttery smooth and sometimes sound like a bag of spanners.

Yep my 2013 did it from new, sounded/felt sometimes like the cable was just about to snap!

Blaming the Slipper Clutch whilst might be true is no excuse!

My new ZX10 also has a Slipper Clutch and the clutch is silky smooth, as is the gearbox.
