I'm sure all will agree the standard horn is pants. I almost avoid using it because the tiny 'parp' that comes out sounds like an embarrassment. Has anyone had any luck fitting some decent noise that's not too bulky or heavy?
Yeah I'd deffo like one that sounds like a car horn, standard is pants and sounds like it's powered by a 1.5 volt battery
Arf is that 2 tone horn on fleebay an air horn with a miniature compressor at the side of it , hence the relay oh and it's gunna draw a lot of amps ?
Thanks Aurthurbikemad, the problem with this would be where to fit it. Ideally I want something that would fir inside the fairing. With an attached compressor this must be a bit bulky. Have you got one?
If you want a fairly straightforward fit, get a Wolo Loud One, about £15, 115db's. Fitted one to my last Fazer thou cos the OE was crap.
Big choice here, even demos of the sounds of em all WOLO ELECTRIC HORNS FOR CARS, TRUCKS, BOATS, RV's AND MOTORCYCLES
Thanks guys the wolo horn look promising. I do like the mini compressor horn from fleabay too - just wondering where I can put the thing. I'll have a pole around the fairing tomorrow.
