donnington track day

    I'm just about to book my first ever track day at donnington park 4th july the drive by noise limit is 98db will a 10 plate with a standard exhaust pass alright I know some tracks ie castle combe which is local to me wont pass even with a standard exhaust

    standard blade can should be ok......I used to run my 08 with a akro and had no probs.....

    dunno if this is set in stone but they used to measure noise on the start finish straight.....just fly down on far side and you should be ok.... if your unsure...... a walk through the pack looking for baffles used be the order of the day.

    Broke my cherry six yrs ago at Silverstone...... almost thought I was taking place in a GP race !! had no real idea of what to expect..... just enjoy yourself and use some time to get used to the track..... race yourself and not others would be my advice...
    stay calm and don't push it....
    but if your a confident fast rider get on it and ride your tits off !!!!!!

    seriously though try to get a instructor (free advise) to follow you most are fairly decent and will advise on lines and body positioning etc.

    Unless you've got a golf ball sized hole in there, you'll pass no problem.
