Ok so i have a 2014 SP engine that im going to refresh this winter, i plan on buying all the parts i need and then having a specialist assemble it all. i was looking to put new SP pistons and rods in but i cant find any oversized options available only stock. Im guessing this would not be ideal putting them into a worn / used (15k miles) cylinder? Would you recommend buying a new cylinder aswell? they are expensive but id do it if i had to. Are oversized pistons not available from honda? im not allowed to use any aftermarket brands for the series i race in, everything has to be genuine honda, but i want as much HP as possible.
Nice to have plenty of horses I like that but make sure you have put enough money by for the suspension and brake set up to compliment those ponies. Best of luck in your series !
