Ok, had the 04 track bike on the track today and after 1/4 mile the f1 light comes on
Turn ignition off and it clears then 1/4 m it's on again
The bike runs fine no issues at all, but would like to know what's causing it to come on ??
Anyone know how to find the fault code on these bikes ?
    Cheers

Could be where the exhaust cables where disconnected if done incorrectly or the servo bit may be faulty

    Well could be anything really

Next time the light comes on leave the engine running, into neutral and put the sidestand down. The light will then give a series of long and short flashes, the long flashes are 10sand the short flashes are 1s. So 3 long and 5 short flashes are 35, (which would be the exhaust servo and can be stopped with a servo buddy).

If you don't have sidestand, or if you take the fairings off so you can get to the diag socket, you can short a couple of puns and it will show you all the codes in the ECU.

Here's the business end of the plug that goes into the diag socket. The red bit circle the bit the clip locates in.
