Guys, I will be going to USA with work in a couple of weeks for a short spell & wondered if there's anything worthwhile to look at bringing back with me which is cheaper than here. Any suggestions other than the usual tech / iPad thing?
Can you bring back the taxes they haven't paid since 1776. Will hopefully be enough to sort the National Debt for a few years
I'm just back from a 10 day trip and to be honest, stuff was pretty much the same price or more expensive.. Ohlins shocks are probably the only exception, the exchange rate just now is really crap so if I was you I would just window shop
Depends where you are in the US mate, I am there every other month and branded clothes/shoes/trainers etc from manufacturers outlet stores out of major towns, are dirt cheap if you are in the right area even at $1.50 to the pound, and a lot of these outlets are tax free havens. Bike parts are cheap, as in Honda OEM spares often 50 to 65% cheaper than UK, aftermarket parts are cheaper, tools are cheaper etc etc Example, just bought back 3 full sets of calliper seals (ie 10 sets), Honda UK price £145, Honda US £65. Blade Mirror arm assembly Honda US £35, UK £105. Set of Pazzo levers for my mate £55 cheaper than UK If you are in tourist areas then they price to match the clientèle, but as I am in New jersey and that's the equivalent of Essex its dirt cheap.
