Hello guys, Just picked up my new fireblade 2017 model before the end of the year. This is my first ever Honda and second bike owned. Previously owned a Kawasaki Z1000 so the blade is quite a change for me. So far I put about 320km on her, breaking in the engine etc etc. Really impressed with the smoothness of the throttle and the gearbox is amazing! Lovely machine indeed. But after all that riding my left wrist is in a lot of pain. I think I'm just not used to the riding position because the clutch itself is not that hard to pull. Or maybe I was thinking of adjusting the clutch level to slightly lower position. I have ordered a couple things to start off with; T-Rex Frame Sliders T-Rex Engine Covers T-Rex Swingarm Spools T-Rex Tail Tidy Motografix Gel Tank cover Puig double bubble windscreen I was looking for a nice Tail light with integrated indicators, but i couldn't find any for the 2017 bike. I plan to get the exhaust and quickshifter + tune put on over the summer when it is too hot to ride.. Any recommendations or suggestions would be highly appreciated. Greetings to you also Hashlak! Very nice bike - and it would have to be, of course, being so new. You're right about the riding position. I feel it is very cramped for those of us over 5 foot 8 (185cms approx). But it is also just a matter of adjusting. I think you'll find the wrist probs go, after you adapt more to the position. Nice mods you've got planned - the tail tidy will really make it. Plenty of exhaust options for you. I ride a 2011 with Yoshimura, but that doesn't necessarily mean it would be good for the 2017. Had to laugh about it being 'too hot to ride'. Of course I know your climate, but for those of us in the UK, there is no such thing as 'too hot'. All the best with it.

Thanks guys. @BlackDevil I saw both of those links and they are both in development Gonna have to wait some time lol
Lovely bike there. When I got my 2015 'blade I had similar wrist pains...just keep riding and within a few days/week or so you will adjust and not notice it. Let us know when it rains over there.
