    Hi guys and girls.

I'm going to view a 54 plate Fireblade tomorrow night and my knowledge of bikes is still very low at the moment, plus this specific one that is for sale has only recently come to my attention....

So I'm looking for any hints/tips of things to look for with this bike. Any common issues I should be aware of etc?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give, 8 really appreciate the support.

    Danny

Price, condition, service history, paperwork, milometer lines up with mot's,
So search others of the same age online to compare prices.
Someone will be along with mechanical experience of this model in a while

    extras to look out for:
a lot has been written about problem with the ABS system
the pea size battery can have a life as short as 2 years or less is not well maintained or fitted with electrical accessories
be wary of any mods to the fuel/ intake/ exhaust system as it can negate all the expertise and engineering Honda put in to design the bike resulting on the motor not running properly
