On the off chance anyone has any laying around that I could persuade them to part with, am after side fairings and nose fairing from a 2007 HRC (red white and blue) CBR1000RR in good condition to finish off the rebuild project. Would buy whole fairing kit if wanted to let go together (not aftermarket though). Other option is to get ones I have repaired/resprayed - and good recommendations? Cheers
Repaired and resprayed would be my choice, it will be 100% after that providing you can get the decals.
Yep, those fairings in that year and colour or any colour are like rocking horse shite!! If you would have Chinese then the world is your oyster, but it looks like you're better off getting them professionally painted. Even then you'd be looking at having the graphics airbrush painted as you'll struggle to source fairing side decals. 1000rr logos are easily found on ebay and can be lacquered over.
