    Crushing news :( . It makes me now think wether he allowed enough time for a full recovery from the original horrific injury ? and has this possibly threatened the rest of his motorcycling career, worst case scenario possibly lose the leg??. Do hope he's ok though !

    Terrible, what a waste of such a talent, If his leg is that brittle I can't see him ever riding in the top flight again!

    apparently he twisted it, the bones must be reallly weak still if it was just a twist. What a shame, was looking forward to seeing him this year at the TT against guy martin... who knows he still might make it

    That's fecked up my fantasy leauge for BSB, he's a tough cookie but I fear this is one step to far for him to be fit for the start of the season.

    thats a bit of sh1t thing to happen to the poor guy. hope he heals soon, maybe if he takes the season out to heal properly??

    Terrible news unless your Guy Martin I guess. On a serious note gutted for him but all us fans as if he does nt race this season it will be true loss.

    I said months ago that his leg would struggle to stand up to abuse.

    As for the break itself, shaun muir etc saying its not that bad, but he has had an external fixator fitted, and that doesnt get fitted to anything but the worst breaks.

    Shame for him, but i dont see 'the truck mechanic' breaking his leg pre season.

    He must be absolutely gutted and be thinking when is his run of bad luck going to be over . Think this one could really be the end of a top flight racing career . I hope I am wrong ,time will tell .

    That's a terrible shame it seems his luck is so bad the poor guy could fall into a bucket of tits and still come out sucking his thumb!
