Leon Haslam has signed for Red Devil Aprilia Team in WSB 2015 Leon Haslam has signed a deal with Team Red Devils Roma Aprilia to contest the 2015 eni FIM Superbike World Championship aboard the brand new Aprilia RSV4 RR that was recently unveiled at EICMA, the international motorcycle exhibition in Italy. Haslam will be one of two riders of the team’s 2015 line-up and he will try to defend the Manufacturers’ Title won by Aprilia a fortnight ago in the last round of the season at the Losail International Circuit, Qatar. Leon Haslam: “I am happy to join the Team Red Devils Roma. I’ve had a few difficult years, also due to various injuries, but I’m sure that next year we can make a great season. Our aim is to achieve the top positions and I believe we can count on my personal experience, plus a great team of professionals and on the evolution of the 2014 winning bike.” Andrea Petricca, Team General Manager: “I’m really pleased to have reached this agreement with Leon, who is totally aligned to our project, which aims for increasingly ambitious results. Leon is an expert rider and this will support us to run the next season at the highest level. We are confident about the real chance to get the best results.”
So many young and very good riders are on a waiting list and the Red Devils Roma take Leon. Probably it was the cheapest choice...
