Tbh can't say I was surprised I deffo agree with everything that has been said. I see in him what was in James Hunt back in the day win at all costs or die trying. MD can certainly ride there is no question in that but imo I don't think he will ever live up to the legend in the family name. Mind you that being said perhaps if JM beats the record and takes the 27th win then perhaps the pressure would be lifted off MD shoulder's as it won't be Joey's name banded about any more maybe then he can get his head down and really race for himself not that he doesn't already of course...
yeah a friend of mine was deliberately shunted into a ditch one year by him just because he had taken pole from him.has a history of doing this when he spits his dummy out, thats my C donnald put him on his ass one year at skerries when he got the same treatment. difference was joey was fast and smooth and could make underpowered bikes win, also wasnt the walking ego it the paddock. he's walked off the starting line for that many reasons I dont take much notice now lol he was also the one that wanted 400's and supertwins banned from all the roads.
