Looking for a new Batt for the ZX being as the old one is out at the mo waiting for a replacement subframe from the states. The old one is still OK but being as they're so cheap thought might as well waz a newun for next season. Don't want a Lithium unit as don't want to have to buy a new Optimate so the question is who makes the best conventional Batts which will work with a standard Optimate 4??
Get the Lipo anyway, had mine nearly a year and not ever needed to charge. During the summer both fans are on pretty much all the time ( got a manual switch) and like clockwork always starts on the third turn. If your worried about discharge just disconnect after each track day.
