Morning peeps, just registered. Picked up my Repsol Blade yesterday, 2011 non abs model. What a machine, having just sold my Mille and on to this, its much easier and nicer to ride. Has the quickshifter that is great. Needs a good clean. fireblade.jpg fireblade1.jpg

I think so, just got to get used to it now, after having an old R1 and an old Rsv, this is a totally different league. But does feel much nicer. Need to reset the suspension though as its super hard. Exhaust is much quieter than I was expecting.

The bike was probably set up for a heavier rider in the past. Blade suspension from factory is usually set to a rider weighing around 75 kilos with kit on.(I may stand corrected on this).
If you weight around that mark, then check if your suspension is on factory settings first. That is, if your bike has the standard springs fitted.

Its def not on standard settings, was mentioned in the last service that its been adjusted and is stiff . I will be putting it back to standard spec at the weekend as I am just about the right weight for that setup.
