Before I stuck it under a Ford Focus. Interestingly the assessor gave me full book price as it was a right off and he must have been feeling generous but several months later a guy emailed me to ask about the history of the bike as he'd just bought it.
Always wanted one of those, looked at them more time than I can remember. Always difficult to find a nice one now though given the age and like you say, write off or been on the wrong side of a hedge!!
