Hey guys, iv bought a oxford solariser, I fitted it to the bike this morning and the blue light was flashing away saying it was charging, however iv just come home in the dark and its still flashing. is this meant to happen?, I even tried covering it so the street light wasn't interfering with it but it was still flashing.

    Thanks
    Dan

I have a Maplin's one and to be honest I have no idea if the LED continues flashing even in the dark. Doubt the LED would provide any major drain but to be safe you could check the current draw with a multi-meter.

Would have thought there would have been a diode to prevent reverse flow, but that could be duff.

If it is a fault you won't be the first. Google found this post from 2012, no answer though. Solar Battery Charger - Triumph Sprint Owners Club
