Popping on over run

    Ok chaps
    Read on few posts here about there blades popping and banging on the over run I have a 09 blade yoshi can o2 eliminator k£n filter pc5 and hm quick shifter but at no time does it ever pop or bang not even when quick shifting my last R1 used Pop like mad loved it so question is why doesn't my blade I no its personal preference but would like a bit popping and farting

    It may have had the pair valves (at least I think thats what they're called) blocked of with blanking plates or the breather pipe to them blocked off.

    I think you'd need to lift the tank and remove the airbox. The plates are on the top of the rocker cover (I think?) which have pipes going into them. Do a search on here for them but I'd assume it's tank off time to check, although someone on here who knows the job will be along at some point.

    Cheers no what you mean now exup am 90% sure plates weren't fitted when I had the air box out when I fitted my quick shifter to the coils but I'll double check when I get a minuet

    If they are fitted then I think the solenoid etc gets removed.

    Theres a vid on you tube on how to fit them I think.

    Found it.

    Guys, you lots just had me worried for a second there, I had the page displayed and only part of the video was showing on the bottom of the page, for a second there I thought it was a "spam" video, until I scrolled down and saw it was a finger, LOL! :rolleyes:

    If the hose is blocked it will either be clamped or simply have a marble in it. but agree when the yoshi was first fitted I expected some serious popping but nada! My previous CB1Kr with a Leo vince farted like a trooper.

    My PAIR is now blocked (as I have an Autotune) so no chance of popping

    Pretty sure everything is as standard under there bike only had 1.6k miles on it when bought and pretty much standard so thinking it might just be a trait of the yoshi can

    Mine doesn't pop with the R-77 either and mine hasn't even been mapped yet.

    Got a 2012 with a scorpion exhaust and no mods to the air intake,will pop but only when revs are high enough,my mates bandit 1250 with scorpion exhaust pops whenever he rolls off the throttle,love the sound of it:D
