Well Interflora actually came through. The online part messed up so they rang a local shop and got them to deliver the flowers. No meal out as we don't see the point of a rushed meal from a fixed menu where the charge loads extra. Meal out will probably be next weekend but this was what the wife saw when she got home, many brownie points for me Had to make the effort this year as I forgot last year Edited pic to make sure address wasn't legible!
I used to work at the Interflora call center, it was hell at this time of year. But if the website breaks like it did for you, they assign people onto your case. Their entire job gets puy on hold until they have sourced the flowers etc you ordered. It's quite impressive really

I don't evny you doing call centre work. I once had a job where I would have to deal with the public over the phone. Got to the stage where I wouldn't answer the phone at home and would let it go to answerphone to filter calls. Luckily I was good at my job and managed to avoid taking calls after a short while. To give them their dues they were on the case before I had to chase them. I accept companies can make mistakes but it is how they deal with them that makes all the difference, and Interflora did a good job today.
