So I'm thinking about getting a quad lock holder for my 2011 blade and wondered if anyone can help me out I read a previous post saying that the fork stem mount didn't fit and they had to fit rubber washers, also do you need to purchase the quad lock case?? Also is there any other makes out there that anyone else uses?? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Colin
There is a sleeve you can get (eBay) to go around the stem inside the headstock for a better fit, you will also need the case as it’s what locks onto the mount keeping it secure. A company called sp do something very similar so may be worth a look.
Also get yourself a vibration damper adaptor, especially if you have an iPhone. I also have the wireless charger head, which is nice.
Bought a Quad lock off of eBay with a vibration mount and a universal phone adapter for £41 brand new and it even fitted the fork stem without any modification. I'm quite impressed with it.
