hi can anybody give me advice on the problem with me still having no brake after 3 hours of bleeding , I put standard rearsets back on , been bleeding and finally got clear fluid through , but still no rear brake , its a 13 blade and non abs. thanks for any help.
ive used a syringe and pushed fluid from the bleed nipple to m/c , then used a one way valve to bleed it used a full bottle of fluid , its now a clear fluid but I just still have no pressure in the pedal and no brake,
Forget one way valve ... Clear bit of hose on to nipple ... Other end into a jar ... Open nipple, push pedal down, close nipple, let go of pedal and repeat ... Keep doing it until no bubbles and then pump pedal a few times ... How does it feel then?

If the fluid is clear then it must work, one would of thought. I did it 2 weeks ago, used the old fashion method. That is, a clear tube, one end immersed in brake fluid, 1/2 turn of the nipple etc, etc There are a number of demos on youtube.
Have you bled the banjo on top of master cylinder? If you had the system apart almost certain this is the root cause of no pressure.
all I did was removed the gilles rearset , then put the standard ones back on which I had powder coater but I didn't strip anything else , that's what I cant understand.
Yes true, did you happen to allow reservoir air to rub up hose into master cylinder? I would crack open top banjo as you depress lever to expell poss trapped air.
I would do exactly the same as MrOCD suggests, normally a 10 minute job. You clearly have air somewhere in the system but you'll get it sorted
hi fellas back again I tried what you said ocd but still no pressure , I also undid the the nut on the m/c pushed pedal down and there was fluid coming out so tightened it , did the same on the hoses nut on the caliper nothing no fluid , does the plunger have a setting on the m/c cause I had to unscrew that to put back to standard. but it does push quite far in and pedal hits bottom , thanks again.
Hi is it standard rear caliper right way up? What is the highest point either caliper or hose or m/c banjo? Take off caliper raise so its the highest point checking that from the m/c banjo to the caliper bleed nipple and no dip in hose you may even need to take the lower hanger bolt out to pivot footrest to ensure that the m/c banjo fitting runs upwards. Get help to hold caliper, open nipple depress lever, close nipple release lever and repeat until u have pressure.
now and again little spurts then nothing , there is no pressure in the pedal , I think I may need a vacuum bleeder to drag the air out and the fluid through.
Sounds like a good idea N1xxl is suggesting. Another idea which is a bit unconventional is to put a clear hose on the brake nipple, open the nipple and gently suck the hose, keep an eye on the reservoir and don't drink the brake fluid . I had to do this on a VFR clutch when the lever just could'nt push enough fluid but make sure you have a long piece of clear hose so that you can see the brake fluid.
100% trapped air, air will trap at any high point could be the rise in the hose or in the master cylinder as normally the banjo points downwards and the caliper is normally lower which adds to the problem. Great things bleed banjo bolts tho not always practical.
