Do yourself a favour, purchase some Sato Street Hooks which will allow you to fit and remove the hangers in 2 minutes flat as opposed to stripping off the whole arse end when you want to remove them again!!

Just do a search on here.

1st page of my thread shows a pic with it all removed HERE

    Take your pick =2]CLICKY

Yeah correct, I've done mine twice now, once to remove them and once to fit the sato hooks. Easy enough when you've done it before.

Yeah correct that way it still supports the under tray and battery etc. I've done mine twice now, once to remove them and once to fit the sato hooks. Easy enough when you've done it before.

Ah, it'll be ok. Just be methodical. Te cringeworthy part is removing the rear seat plastics. They slide back whilst lifting it over the seat lock. Don't try spreading it apart with force, there's no need as I have seen one split in two on a used bike in a dealers.

Only thing which made it easier was putting a battery drill through the inner under tray to access the phillips screws to remove the coloured under seat plastic bit which cannot be seen once refitted.

It'll only be a couple of hours off and back together.

Good stuff - I think that might be a new record especially if you managed a couple of brews in that time.

Thats the benefit of sites like this one. Plenty of genuine advice from guys who know the script having been there themselves.
