Has anyone fitted a Reg/Rec from a different model or make other than the bike specific one. Just curious as we need a new one again for the RR5. Altering connectors and wiring is not a problem, my thoughts are a reg/rec does two tasks changing AC to DC and gives a stable voltage. Thoughts please.
