Hi all, im new to the forum, so firstly, thanks for having me!

I swapped my R6 for an RR6 fireblade a few weeks ago, and within 30 minutes of riding, fell in love with the blade somewhat unconditionally.

Unfortunately the Fireblade didnt feel the same way, so after being left for a week, i took her out for a spin and.....no indicators, no hazards.

Everything else working fine, just no flashers. I noticed the flasher relay was buzzing noisily when the indicators/hazard were switched on, so i assumed a dead relay.

Bought a new relay from Wemoto, fitted it, andddddddddddd nothing. No noises, no flashers.

Bikes completely standard, and everything else works fine. Fuse is fine.

Any thoughts? Is my new relay a duff one too? Ill check it all with the multimeter this weekend - i left my kit 130 miles away at my parents house, just wondered if anyone has a simple fix.

    Thanks!

Just gave the switch a good clean up but no joy. The switch does feel rather vague tho, almost a little sloppy, compared to the R6 anyway which gave a pretty definite 'click' which you could feel.

Looks like i may have a broken wire or something.

I took mine apart and gave it a clean when it stopped working, it still didn't work so I took it to Arthurs workshop on here for investigation and he fixed it. Guess what it was........dirty switch lol
Must of done a better job than me.
Your switch could maybe even need replacement or like you say could be a wire.
    Check the simple/cheap options first

I completely stripped the switchgear today, rebuilt, and went through the bike with voltmeter.

I have an ignition fed 12v at the relay, and a good earth. If i bridge the relay out, i can switch the indicators and hazards on/off using the switch gear (although obviously they permanently light rather than blinking).

Im going to try another relay in the morning, as it seems the most likely culprit now i know the switchgear is working.

Oh and then on the way home my speedo has started to play up...
