    I've never supported the weight of the engine when removing either of my R&G crash bungs? Mines an 04RR though so yours may be different.

    Quick update. I've cut the block connectors off and for the time being used bullet connectors to connect the 3 yellow wires from stator to RR. I don't know where to find suitable connectors or whether to just connect them straight? Your views would be appreciated.

    Solder them together.................if you need to separate them at a later date then just Un-solder them.
