Been out on her and when the engine was warm I couldn't get neutral. At lights, any stop really. Checked her now when cold and goes in no bother. I thought maybe the engine oil was low but that's bang on. What else can I check?
Not heard of that issue before @Alan Summers and struggling to think of a logical explanation. If you turn it off when the engine is hot can you get neutral then?
Just to update. Adjusted the lever play and took it for MOT. All good so hopefully that's all it was.
