    Hi Guys
It is time for me to get my fireblade serviced and I was told when I bought it that one of the services was quite an expensive one but I can't remember at what mileage it was at- but I bet it is the one I am due now at 4000 miles or 12 months.
Is this the expensive service and if not at what mileage is it due? What is it that they do that makes it so expensive and how much is this mega service? I gotta say I just love:D riding my fireblade it is everything I read and dreamed about .... thanks for your help in anticipation.

    Regards ufoxed

16000 mile service is the bigger service mate.
This is the service where the valve clearances get checked.

When you have owned a Ducati 916 you will then know the financial pain of a service :)

4,000 miles service is just check a few things, so if your pads and fluid are ok it'll probably be pretty painless. I'd change oil and filter though for the sake of £50 more

    What year is it?

2012 and later have an 8000 mile interval. Although I tend to get my oil and filter changed on 4k as well...

I did the 12 month service myself, bollocks to paying the garage well over £100:eek: for a glorified oil and filter change.
