110kg weight restriction on SP1 (2018)

    Why is does the fireblade SP1 have a max 110kg weight restriction? Is it down to the ohlins? With xmas in gear I'm prob over that now....
    Should I be worried or just go on the slim fast for my summer beach bod

    It's due to the lighter rear subframe - nothing to do with the Ohlins.

    The bikes aren't constructed for pillion passengers. Some have reported carrying heavy Krieger packs without issue.

    You shouldn't worry at all - there are a few on here touching 110-plus.:)
