Long shot but does anyone know the part number or size and pitch for the two pinch bolts that clamp the throttle housing to the bars? RR7 SC57. One of mine was unbelievably stiff and rounded off Had to hacksaw a groove into it and eventually after a lot of cursing it came out! Obviously it’s not going back on so may as well get s/s ones and swap them all out
That particular job is waiting for every SC57 owner. The throttle tube screws are fitted with open thread ends at the top, and over the years water gets in and seizes the lot solid. I've had this job on all my RR7s. If you ever need to do it again the way to get the screws out is to apply a regular drop of 50/50 acetone and automatic gear oil using a little pipette or dropper, every few hours for as long as it takes into the open end of the screws. One of mine took a week for the acetone to work its way down the threads. Alternatively, if you can get a small heat source on the alloy throttle housing it will expand and break the corrosion. Another similar job is the recessed Allen headed bolts on the rear shock's link parts. They seize into the frame.
