Tomorrow..... anyone doing it ?? its showing full but gonna take a punt in turning up and hope for a place.....
They put you on a reserve list......you only pay if places become available, but i usually phone em a few times to keep checking......this particular (11th August) event got changed from 98 to 95db and quiet a few places became available......... take a gamble and just turn up (do it nice and early) most never usually refuse odd few extra places.....but if bike fails db test.....your fault not theirs......loads failing on sat but usually help on hand to supply baffles for £25 to £30 quid....
My brother was at silverstone today, and i was going to go with him on standby but decided not to in case i have to site around for the hole day.. 90miles from home so did not want to take the risk.. They had a db limit, but they did not check...
Not sure how it works.............. but was told that its monitored by sound meters located round track.......we never had individual tests like when we re at mallory and have done at least 8 silverstone days and 12 or more mallory......
