I let my guard down! I think - not very upset..i guess i have some panels for my track day now...

An ambulance was turning right, it put its sirens on and slammed on its brakes. There was a bus on the left stationary in traffic ..

Not sure what happened but I was not going very fast at all. You can tell from the damage. But the bike fell to the left..

The mid panel is broke because of the crappy indicators! I was due to change these for the flush ones!

The clutch reservoir got stuck under the bus..how do I pop this back in..??

One girl offered help in me getting up and getting the bike to the side. Everyone else just went on their way.. she made me count to 10..lol

I am in the process of collecting spare panels for the bike and oddly enough I have the other side mid and bottom – just not the left side!

MrB – please pm me prices for left mid and bottom panels.

Gutted for you samuk, just shows speed ain't always the factor.
You walked away, that in every sense is worth a new fairing and indicator any day.

Hope you get your P&J back to normal very soon.

Sorry to hear this news Sam. Only real thing that matters is that you are ok, everything else is just an inconvenience and money.

3 hours later with some Q-Bond - real good stuff!

cant recommend the stuff enough Q BOND ULTRA STRONG ADHESIVE AND FILLER (REPAIRS IN TEN SECONDS) 6001651023565 | eBay

think i will use some plastic filler and some touch up paint to finish it so the cracks are less visible.. - though not 100% sure yet!

At least i can get the bike back on the road - unsure if i have £500 for new panels just yet..but thanks for the prices MrB - i will get back to you and the mid panel i will change hopefully in a month...

I bought these! OXFORD PRODUCTS BAR ENDS - RED | eBay

and fitted them the morning i went to work - when i open the throttle and let go - it would not go back to its original position as the bar end was stopping it! so when i went to brake even though i was going very slow - the throttle was open when i braked..

it makes sense, i was not going fast, road was dry no holes, and i did not hit anything..i was filtering slowly...

anyway - you learn from your mistakes!

bikes ready just need to fill up the clutch fluid...and get a new screen on..

Gutted for ya mate . Hope the rebuild is going good ( and cheap as possible ).

I hate seeing the " loops " or " man down " titled threads pop up
