Hey guys Finally picked up my new blade on friday, so happy with it. Check it out. Slip-On Akrapovic system, BMC filter, removed rear bracket, peg spurs and fitted a genuine rear cowel and HRC carbon tank pad.

Thanks guys , will leave rear pegs on as the wife enjoys a ride every now and then? Are they easy to take off? I paid R142 000 which incl the pipe and filter, the dealer threw those on for free on the deal. 142 is +/- 12 000 pounds. Weather has been spot on.
What revs does yours idle at with that can on, i've got the same bike with a straight through yoshi and it's idling at 1300 rpm, a bit high but there is no adjuster to get to without pulling the air box back off... stupid really.
Nice one, enjoy. Is that a system or a slip on, looks like a slip on to me with the S bend. The full system has straight pipe work and the can is 50mm shorter.
Yeh its a slip on system, has the sbend pipe and can. Is there any sound difference from yours with full system to the slip on system? Wander why the slip on comes with the S bend pipe and the full system doesnt, any idea? What diff does it make?
Hey, yeh mine also idles at around 1300, when you first turn on but if u blip the trottle it drops the revs a bit. what should it idle at?
According to the book 1200 +/- 100 rpm. Mine settles to around 1300 +/- 50 rpm, not a big deal I know. I changed the air filter yesterday and whilst at it took the air box off to take a look at the throttle linkages. According to the book you cant adjust idle, there is a white painted screw in the middle which looks like a balance screw but no obvious throttle stop screw, in fact there seems to be 2 one for each pair of throttle boddies either side of the cable pulley, neither of which you can get to. I also pulled the IACV and checked that was all working ok. A bit bafling really. I have no idea how / if you can adjust the idle speed... Anyone?????
my revs went up when i did the flapper mod ? from 1200 to around 1300 is it to do with back pressure at low revs ?
Only real difference is length of can, 50mm shorter for the full system. Sound and power output nion the same. But obviously the full system offers more tuning potential.
How So? Does it have set fuelling at 0 throttle or what? i've tried +/- 50s on ther pcv and that makes no difference, If it's supposed to set a certain recorded rpm why do they differ?
When mine is first started from cold it revs at 2000 for a short while then drops to around 1200/1300. Just had first service done tick over is still the same. Did the flapper mod and its still ticking over at 1200/1300, hav,nt been able to ride it yet due to bad weather.
