Well i dont know because ive not tried any others but for me this forum has brought me a few ride outs /loads of Banter /some new and genuine friends (and Ken) i do miss him the old dear! and i have learnt a bit as well .
I think that we are all similar thinking, that's why it works..And older, which means no bravado. Everyone I've met on here seem really nice, genuine blokes and girls.... And I'm a fussy fekker when it comes to human beings.... I agree with you giv, it's definitely up there as forums go, but I don't belong to many, this and tankslap is the only bike forum I frequent.
Without doubt the best forum I've been on. I joined a blackbird forum just to ask some general question about the bike and even being a new member, there wasn't a single reply for 2 weeks. Even when looking into other posts on that forum the replys tended to be quite snappy. Ie (look for it in the search function). I can honestly say that this forum is very unique in that it has a very common denominator. We all love bikes, and we all respect what others have to say. I love it.
For me its the fact that so many folk take their sports bikes and head off round Europe for a week or so and actually use them - I know not possible for all (both financial and time factors) Forum trip to the Pryenees in 2013 anyone?

have a wee bit of catching up on the member numbers ducatisti uk had, there was that many you couldn't keep up with new posts so you just had to pick a favourite section and monitor it only lol
one that stuck out for me was Cabbie which is a real shame because initially i thought he was a top bloke and very talented with his bike building but he just seemed to snap and went right off of the rails.
Ermmmm,yes its the best forum it doesnt seem to attract Trolls.........which is a good thing.All the lads ive met on the ride outs have been top blokes...
Unlike a few on here who have never been on forums much, i've spent a fare few hours on forums over the past 10 years and this 1 is in my top 2 of the best I've ever used. the other I've been on for 9 years and it's a hard thing to brake plus met many good mates on the other forum
always good help and banter going on. its a great place to be and the few members i,ve met all top class people. were all happy because we love and ride the best there is !!
I've not been on here that long, but so far I've not seen a single argument, slagging match, or anything get nasty really... seen a few disagreements, differing opinions, but the attitude always seems to be "ok, I disagree, lets talk about something else". Thats a very rare thing on an internet forum!
