Took the RVF out for a run today to make the most of the dry and clean roads before going back into hibernation for next year. Still have a problem with the battery not charging, or it could be the battery it's self. Will look into it over winter and will sort a few other little jobs out like powder coating the wheels, cleaning up the swingarm and rear shock and replace the rear indicators for original items. Would also like to fit a genuine HRC ECU to lift the power a touch and might look at replacing the radiators and do the chain and sprockets. Great fun to ride has a sense of occasion and looks great. Handles a treat and OK no litre power house but embarrassed someone on a ZX6 today round the twisties. A few pics. Mint mate - need to give my nc30 some tlc this winter for next year... Been saying that for a couple years now though
I always liked the 400's, my first bike was a zxr400 and I'll never forgot the day I embarrassed a Daytona 955i, the guy came up to me in the bike cafe and said he liked the look of my ZX7r, you should have seen his face when I told him it was a 400 . To be fair it was painted in these colours
