Was at bishopscourt yesterday for the Irish Superbikes. Not a great crowd but a fcuking cracking days racing. £5 to get in plus your programme. 14 races from 0900 to well after 1800. Face sunburnt, legs sore from standing but a great days racing.
Yep £5 in plus programme. Only down side was I went to lift my mate at 0630 and I ran out of diesel. Had to trek 3 miles to nearest petrol station. Thank god the BMW is self bleeding. Then got into a debate with a marshal that a wee word called "please" would be nice before he berated me for standing at the pit wall without a pass. Best thing about it was there wasn't even a race on at the time.
Ahh, marshals. They do a fantastic job. Unfortunately, the small moustache and side parting can be a little bit tooooooo tempting.
They do a fantastic job. This one had a "radio plus headset and two passes" which made him twice as special, a side parting with small moustache. If I'm honest more my fault than his, has to do with time of the morning (not time of the month) and no coffee yet. Lol
as an ex Marshal doing the road races I can confirm that the sign in sheet gives you more points for being a jobs worth at the same time as not being smart enough to avoid standing in dangerous places yourself.I packed it in after three years lol.
