Went Drag racing at the wekend.

Wrong, think back pressure?

 

It didn't blow apart did it ???

 

Nah, it's my mate Lee's bike. He dropped it a few weeks ago , dented both silencers, removed them and the 3 bolt fittings onto the linkpipes. He thought it looked and sounded better, but I thought he would be losing too much back pressure. I blocked up the lefthand linkpipe and made a megaphone with baffle for the righthand side ! Phew!

 

Nice one ... great thinking . Get that extra blank bit cut off an it could look proffesional

 

Was the best I could do at a moments notice. It's an inlet flange for one of my RRW silencers. Just so happened to have the same size 60mm linkpipe. I fitted a big alloy disc inside and clamped it all together. Lee was gonna fit a beer can, but it was too big !!!

 

I think the heat may have just been a bit too much for a beer can

 

Looked a cracking run..

 

Thanks Mark, if I can talk my mate into spending £100 on a second hand air shifter, I reckon we can do 10.9s on it !!!
