Brands 3 times, oulton twice what's wrong with Malory, croft etc and don't agree on assen it's bsb not wsb! Plenty of good circuits that don't get a look in the only problem is Jonathan palmer doesn't own then so they've got no chance!!
Shame Anglesey still not able to host a round - know its miles away for many, but its amazing circuit, good viewing sites - just needs improved access roads to it from main road.
Anglesey would be amazing for BSB. Shame castle Combe does not have noise issues like mallory is now getting. That would be a great circuit for BSB. Nuts yes. Hope we are doing a calendar. And I'm 99% sure I'm going for a night or 2 to Thruxton fo rage BSB with the family takn the tent. Anyone fancy a forum weekend meet ?
stunning tip, I've never been to Thruxton even thought it's only 60 miles away. Now with going more track days ands wanting to go to watch racing live more I intend to try over the next few years to get to more circuits
It's a good fast track (hense lots of crashes) and about 20miles from me, a few of us normally camp up there the 3 days and have a good drink, sometimes we even see some racing lol. Give me a shout if you do go and I will show you the good places to go.
Sounds like a plan, I bought a new family size tent in the sales, With the intention of using it for trackdays and going to watch the racing. AS this is not on when the kids are off more than likely leave on the Friday after school. drive down, pitch up and have a BBQ on the Friday night, then watch the racing and quali etc.. with added Beers And I will give u a shout
I might. It's my 'local' circuit (exactly 100 miles door to gate) and is always great craic. If you get a good spot on Club corner you can see, probably, two thirds of the circuit. It's much more old school than some of the bigger, more corporate tracks and I've had some great times there (usually at somebody else's expense).
It's not even the best ride for you either, I went camping in Devon last month and it was pretty much a straight road all the way
I remember thinking it would be a nice place to live but then I started counting speed cameras, how do you ride a bike round there!
Well I did used to sell the force photographic unit the speed camera film but they stopped buying it... between you an me, I think they're switched off Once you get into indian territory good and proper, there's not much of a enforcement presence, to be honest with you Martin, but I always ride well within the letter of the law anyway.
