And that was the point when the alluring, strawberry blond Ken began to distance himself from both the conversation and Dave V.
Well to hell with it , its a lovely day today and dry albeit a bit chilly , But gonna go for a blast i think , Canna resist and dying to hear the exhaust in action
Nice one DDC. I just got busted doing something similar. My missus is at the village hall doing some parish event and left me a list to sort before she gets back as we've got visitors this afternoon. Sod that. As soon as she'd gone I wheeled Bill out and we went for a spin. Condensation on all my kit, including visor, but it felt great. I'd have got away with it too except the village bypass is a 3/4 mile long straight and ......well..... I'd only been home a few minutes when I got a text from her explaining that she knew the "bloody sound of that bike and there's no way that was 60 mph" I can assure everyone that it was, I was just using very low ratio's...
Haha brilliant..... Well my blast was short lived Got the bike out and fired her up and she sounded so sweet purring away in the sunlight so gear on , jumoed in into first and thought Right I`ll go round the village a few times slowly to make sure everything I replaced is working as it should. ROund oncce and stopped , yeah chain fine, levers fine, linkages fine. Righto round again with a bit more oomph this time ... Stopped again yeah everything good to go .... Ok down to the junction and away we go , Into first , second third and just about to gun it out the village when the bike started losing power then stopped dead.... Bloody front calipers seized on ... SO heres me stopped right on the bend aswell. Had to end up getting the spanner out the tool kit and loosen off the bleed nipples just to get it moving again. Ended up pushing it all the way back uphill about a mile to the house. Knackered is not the word Anyway back into garage cover on and i`ll deal with it once I`ve stopped sulking lol . However did injoy the few laps though and the exhaust sounds the business and not to looud
