Hi all, New to this site today. Started riding a long time ago and had a bike(s) for most of the years since. I'm very lucky to have a road sports bike (08 Blade), a street bike (Street Triple R) and a track bike (09 Blade) The road bike was my first Fireblade and I love it and I don't think there's anything out there at the moment I'd have in it's place as a road bike. The track bike is also great and has a few trick bits on it, most of which have made a noticable difference, so not just bling!! The Triumph is a lovely thing to play on but it really bugs me that it has a more restrictive steering lock (turning circle) than the blade! Look forward to joining in with the forum but I work away a lot so won't always be albe to contribute. Safe riding Keith
welcome Keith, enjoy your time here with us Has any one mentioned Pictures of your bikes? the photo police will be along very soon Oh, and don't forget to drop a pin on the members Map.
Welcome Keith, how old is "older rider"? Most of us are old on here anyway except for Fez whose about 12
WooWooWooWooWoo!!!!!! WeeeeeeeWooooooooWeeeeeeeeWooooooo!!!! Photo police!!! Get your pics up now, and we won't have any problems!!!
yeh you lot are all old guys to me welcome to the forum keith, where abouts in the north east are you, im from whitby
Cheers fellas, thanks for the welcome. I live in Teesside but currently at work in the Middle East - with lousy slow internet so excuse me if I don't get any pics loaded today. Looking for pics I've realised I have hardly any of the road bikes compared to the track bike! Love the track days but I can't see me ever stopping riding on the road as some lads do. Here's a few pics I've found.
A belated greeting to you Keith. Your bikes look wonderful. I share your hatred of poor locks, my last bike's would have been turned down by the captain of the Exxon Valdez for being dangerously restrictive. Enjoy your stay with us. There's a very active sub division of us in the north now so keep an eye on their epic road trips concurring with you being at home from work. All the best Ken
