    Hi, i'm a newbie to this forum and just wanted to share my above comment.
    I bit the bullet in march this year and swapped my CBR600FX for a 2007 CBR1000RR in Black.
    So far I have done 4000 miles of the best riding ever. In rain or sun or cold this bike is fantastic, I think it's a better bike than i could ever imagine.

    Welcome to the forum and your bike will feel especially good as it's even faster than the other blades out there for one reason - it's in the fastest colour BLACK :D

    What was wrong with the ZX10 ?

    No i bought the 2006/07 model. i was only 20 at the time and it was my first 1000cc bike. mpg was quite poor and in general i just didnt like it, only kept it for 9 months.

    Thats very nice, congratulations!

    My missus still hasn't forgiven me for not buying a black one... my previous 2 were black but I fancied a change this time round... obviously I should have consulted the missus first :rolleyes:
