My 04's been dry stored for about 8 months, I tried taking it out today but the clutch leaver is doing nothing, it has no resistance etc, I've googled it and it's saying that it's the clutch has locked up and needs releasing and re-oiling, has anyone else had this issue and do you have any suggestions on what to do?

Very much doubt the clutch has locked up , has the clutch reservoir got fluid in it, might just need bleeding

It's got fluid and was only done last year, I'll bleed it and see what happens

push the bike around in neutral, then try to do it in 2 or 3rd gear, it may help
